XL Leisure Group Administration
The XL Leisure Group have gone into administration on the 12 September 2008, which has resulted in all its aircraft being grounded and its flights cancelled.
Fleetway Travel PLC is a well established and responsible company, we would like to reassure all our customers that we have teams of experts working on the repatriation of all our passengers still in resorts and the re-protection of all the holidays affected by the demise of XL Airways. Our aim is to get everyone home as quickly and as comfortably as possible and to offer alternative holidays to everyone due to travel in the future.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) are repatriating all passengers currently overseas who were due to fly back to the UK on XL Airways, more information can be found on the CAA website www.caa.co.uk.
We strongly recommend that all our passengers in resorts report to the airport as per their original flight schedule and contact the CAA representative once there.

Please note that as our immediate priority are the flights due to depart within the next 10 days, we are currently unable to offer advice for customers due to fly later in the season. If you have queries regarding these later flights, please call us from Wednesday, when we hope to have details of alternative arrangements available. Your patience is appreciated.
