Who we are looking for

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Commercial Executive with a passion for travel. You are determined, organised and great at mucking in and providing support to other team members. You will be responsible for maximizing revenue on all our deals over a variety of platforms. Providing valuable reporting and market trends to the product managers.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for maximizing revenue on all deals, extending and renegotiating contracts were necessary
  • Managing the placement of deals across all platforms
  • Responsible for obtaining and managing deals from Product managers
  • Analysis of deal performance / market trends and reporting to Product team on a weekly basis.
  • Supporting Product team on all types of analysis
  • Consolidation of transfers, negotiating better rates in general and on an adhoc basis
  • Manage and grow relationships with Tourist Boards and obtaining funding for marketing activities across the board
  • Manage and grow relationships with airlines and obtain discounts for specific deals

Skills required

  • Knowledge of the Organisation’s structure, key issues and objectives
  • Ability to work within allotted timeframe and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of additional European languages will be advantageous
  • Commercial awareness. Up to date with market / industry trends
  •  Working independently as well as part of a team
  • An understanding of the needs and motivation of business itself
  • Fully developed IT skills, including proficiency in Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook
  • Interpersonal skills: the ability to communicate confidently and clearly, both verbally and in writing, with people inside the organisation and external contacts. Excellent English language skills and good writing skills is a must
  • A highly organised and flexible approach to work, including the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Lateral thinking and good arithmetic
