Dear All
I had a wonderful holiday in Crete with my family - your call centre agent was excellent - but you should know that when i arrived at Heraklion airport for my return trip they said that they would not accept e tickets for Monarch flights - only paper tickets - apparently a monarch policy
This caused some distress and fortunately a combination of my bloodymindedness and their co-operation meant we boarded as planned -
It could have turned out very differently - i booked lastminute so there was never an opportunity to get paper tickets -
