And located within a stones throw of the fabulous Alexandria Aquarium, the Alexandria Zoo and the cities top museums - The Graeco-Roman and the Royal Jewellery museum. The Montaza Palace and royal gardens are tremendous too.
Downtown Alexandria is probably the liveliest place, lined streets of antique shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafes. The seafood available is amazing. Budget hotels are available here as well as the luxury! Make sure you visit the tomb of the Unknown Soldier whilst you're in the district. Long days lazing on the stunning beaches, awaiting awesome diving opportunities are great ways to spend your days too!
