Egyptian Pyramids
The Egyptian Pyramids are probably the most famous pyramids in the world. Even though many ancient cultures across the planet have their own extravagant burial tombs as well. Those of Greece and Asia are also of valuable significance to the ancient worlds. Pyramids are generally a triangular object built on a square or triangular base. Most have three or four sides. The Sphinx was in fact built to guard the Pyramids! The Sphinx even has a few stories of its own. This half human, half lion structure is one of the most visited and loved statues in the world! It is often thought that the party that originally entered the tomb, fell victim to the curse of the Pharaohs! As some of them died soon after entering the tomb. This tomb was in fact one of the most well preserved, allowing for one of the most powerful insights into this fascinating culture.
