First Choice Holidays
First Choice holidays are one of the most well known and trusted holiday companies in the UK. They were first formed in 1994 when the company "Owners Abroad" were rebranded. After 2 years experience the First choice Company then brought two other tour operators. Hayes and Jarvis and the Unijet Travel Group, creating a bigger variety in their holiday market. They then later renamed their sister company of Air 2000, First Choice Airways. After years of successful business First Choice then decided to merge with the holiday company TUI AG in September 2007. This merge joined the First Choice Company to equally well known British holiday company Thomson holidays. This merge has allowed customers to have a much larger choice, allowing them to have their desired holiday experience. Ways to book holidays with both companies have been greatly expanded to allow all booking routes easy and simple. Whether it be over the internet, telephone or one of their high street shops. Thomson, First Choice and Holiday Hypermarket are generally found in most town centres already. In 2009 the entire fleet of First Choice Airways will be rebranded Thomson Airways – Thomson fly is also to be rebranded under the same name.
