Ibiza, gracing the hot, sunny Mediterranean Sea, at just 80km off the coast of Spain. The party island is the third largest of the Balearic Islands group. This manic mix of amazing nightlife carries on right through the night with the sounds of world famous DJs around every corner. The beaches in the area are quite small however but there is always something going on. Heading over to San Antonio Bay for the day time is a great option – calm waters and soft sandy beaches, parties, water sports and fun in the sun are always in full swing! The Capital of the island – Ibiza Town is also well known for its mega clubs! Space, Pacha, Cream and Amnesia all lie just minutes outside the city! Ibiza Town is also a great choice for those after some peaceful sightseeing and market shopping to. Hand made Jewellery and hippie clothes are always great finds. The old town is one of the most enchanting places on the whole island, cobbled streets lined with rustic old buildings, check out the Cathedral if a return to culture is just what you need. The water park is also located in the capital and makes for a great day out for adults and children alike! Restaurants catering to children or fussy eaters are two a penny in Ibiza. Menus from all nations can also be found along with the world famous fast food chains. Traditional foods that have got to be had are tortillas, paellas and off course fish freshly caught from the seas. Very nicely washed down by the islands own tipple – world famous San Miguel.
