Salou Cheap Holidays
One of the main holiday resorts in Spain and definitely a favourite to the Brits is the glitzy Gold Coast – Known as the Costa Dorada. The lively resort of Salou is the main area along the long coastline and the ideal place to take a cheap fun filled holiday! The town of Salou is one of the countries liveliest resorts boasting long, wide, soft beaches backed by a trendy promenade with every amenity imaginable! There are almost as many restaurants, bars and shops as there are people! The warm blue waters make water sports, banana boats and dinghy´s a must! With beach bars the central hub during the day, beach parties are always available! The local cuisines come in all shapes and sizes too – you can even find the odd English Café to! The international airport of Reus is just a quick half an hour away from Salou, allowing for travel to the Costa Dorada to be cheap, easy and quick! The perfect blend for families – and plenty to do chucked in for good measure. Of course trips to Spain´s biggest theme park PortAventura are not to be missed, with huge rollercoaster´s, log drops and massive thrill rides and of course hot, hot temperatures what more could you ask for. The waterpark – Costa Caribe is also a massive hit too. At much better value than venturing over to Florida, it´s easy to see why Spain´s answer to Universal is such a great alternative! With rides that suit all ages too, all the family are happy! There is lots of accommodation in and around the areas of Salou too, the former fishing village of Cambrils, next door to Salou has its fair share of bars and shops to, but on a more relaxed scale to Salou, it´s great for families with young children. For Party animals and the big cats the Costa´s capital will keep you going till the early morning and the beautiful beaches are the perfect place to clear that head!
