The northern "automobile" city of Turin is located in northern Italy, the capital of the Piedmont region is a major city for both business and culture. Originally thought of as "just" an industrial town, until the city became the host of the 2006 winter Olympics. Summer is definitely the best time to visit Turin – with warmer temperatures than the winter months. Turin has a continental climate and the colder months can fall below freezing.
