Lyon is located in the East of France. Lyon is in fact the countries third largest city. It serves as the capital for the Rhone-Alpes region. This major business city is ideally located between Paris and Marseille. Lyon also has a great reputation amongst the world of cinema! Lyon is well known for its fine restaurants and is also the headquarters for Interpol and Euronews. This old Roman city is home to fabulous churches that are well worth a visit like the Notre-Dame de Fourviere Basilica and the Saint-Jean Cathedral.
