Nice is the capital of the Cote d’Azur region and is located in the South of France on the Mediterranean Sea. France’s fifth largest city, Nice is bursting with things to do. Shopping is also a great past time in Nice, the Fifth Avenues of the city are Avenue Jean Medecin, Rue Paradis and Avenue de Verdun. Also be sure to check out the local markets for great souvenirs. The night market in the summer is great for hand made goods. Spend your evenings lazing in the outdoor restaurants, some of the countries best oysters and sea foods are available in Nice. Salade Nicoise is also a definite favourite!
