Here the real Poland can be discovered with tucked away castles, palaces and churches. Most of the rest of the city would seem new, after the cities destruction in the Second World War and the communist regime arriving - The Palace of Science and Culture dominates the cities skyline, some see it as an eyesore, others as a part of the cities history. Then there’s the newer building – those of the future investors who have built impressive sky scrapers.

Amongst the scores of theatres, cinemas and galleries are historical monuments, not to be forgotten by this modern metropolis. These can be visited best whilst on board either the fabulous Historic Tram way or on one of the tourist bus lines, which really do take you to see the best parts of Warsaw. A boat trip along the Vistula River is not to be missed whilst on holiday in Warsaw – its sight seeing with a difference!
