  • Great place to stay

We stayed for 2 day stays and had good experience staying there. It is near by almost all sights and also advantage is that public transport is just next to the hotel so there won't be any issue in travelling and reaching back hotel. Great place to stay overall.

Aparthotel Adagio Rome Vatican

Aparthotel Adagio Rome Vatican

Discover the cultural, historical and verdant interfusions of Rome from your own private holiday base, located just a short distance from some of the main sights of the Eternal City. Nestled at the feet of the hilly P.R.U Pineto Park, the Aparthotel Adagio Rome Vatican offers a relaxing space in green surroundings, with airy rooms, daily breakfast and even a seasonal swimming pool, providing you with plenty of opportunities to relax and unwind during your stay in the Italian capital. The Balduina Metro Station is located across the street from the hotel, meaning you are only a few stops away from the centre of Rome where the main sights such as the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain await. If you’ve brought your walking shoes with you, you can also choose to explore the route south to the Vatican City, which is approximately 4 kilometres away by foot. Roman life is best taken in on a casual stroll through some of its many streets, making plenty of stops along the way at great cafés, lively restaurants and fantastic shops and museums.

Rome

Rome is a treasure trove of masterpieces, from cultural gems to great paintings and sculptures, as well as ambitious modern architecture mixed with classical palazzos and villas - this is a city which has it all and is more than happy to flaunt it. Visits to the Colosseum, the Forum Romanum as well as the Pantheon should be on the top of any visitor’s list. Off the main tourist track, you’ll find places like the Roman houses under the Church of St John and St Paul, as well as the Via Appia, boasting numerous beautiful ruins along its path. Similarly, a visit to Rome should not be without a trip to The Vatican City. Gaze at the truly breath-taking Basilica of St Peter and the Sistine Chapel with its world-famous painted ceilings. See if you can spot the Pope from the Square of St Peter.

Around the Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, you’ll find plenty of luxurious boutiques and delightful cafés where you can grab a cup of Italian coffee, between shopping endeavours. For a green escape, head to the Villa Borghese. A quaint park with lots of trees, ruins and of course the actual Villa Borghese. In the western end of the park, you can look out across the city from the Pincian Hill.
