Reviews

  • Two night stay

Overall my experience of this hotel was great. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the room on the first night as the air con did not work, but they sent someone to fix it straight away. Nice to have access to a pool and enjoyed a few of the offers at the bar. Relaxing stay.

  • Great place!

Very nice hotel with all the amenities you'd expect. Great and friendly and helpful staff. Nice gym. Nice restaurants and a piano bar. Fast wifi. Clean comfortable bed. It's about a 40 minute walk to the medina along a very active road with great nightlife.

Fes Marriott Hotel Jnan Palace

Fes Marriott Hotel Jnan Palace

Pass through the jaw-dropping colonial gates of the Fes Marriott Hotel Jnan palace and enter a luxury oasis that is set right in the heart of one of the cultural centre-points of Morocco. A large estate, surrounded by a green, landscaped garden, guests can relax in large, cooled rooms where the private balcony either overlooks the large pool or the rest of the hotel, as well as indulge in the many leisure activities that exist here, when not exploring the surrounding city or region, of course. In addition to the large pool, the Fes Marriott also boasts a fully-equipped gym and a spa centre with sauna and massage treatments. For your daily meals you can frequent one of the three restaurants, which serves both international and delicious Moroccan food, as well as a nightclub and three bars, among which one of them is an English-themed pub. If you want to explore the city further, then you’ll find Fes an exciting place to discover. Near the hotel you find the old historic Mellah area as well as the plenty of souks, riads and even green golf courses, if you want to improve your swing.

Fes

Located in the north of Morocco, the former capital city of Fes is today one of the cultural hotspots of the country. An amazing amalgamation of old buildings and souks still being inhabited by the crowds of busy people, intermingled with serene, stately homes –known as riads, Fes is an adventure that invites visitors to explore its many sides and stories. One of the oldest colonial cities in Morocco, remains of former empires and its cultural importance are visible throughout its warren of streets. Tour the vast and stunning medina of the city located in the Old Town –or Fes El Bali as it is officially known. Take in the many colours, sounds, tastes and items that are all offered up in copious amounts here, book and official guide to take you on a tour through the city’s famous tannery, and then escape to the tranquillity and serenity of one of the madrasas that abound in the Old Town and which are open to Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Fes is a city where people of all backgrounds, religions and skills have found a home over the centuries and this makes it a truly beautiful space in the heart of Morocco where colours and flavours overflow around every corner.
