A brand new adults only resort located just north of Zakynthos Town, the Lesante Blu lets you enjoy a comfortable and calm holiday in the middle of the Ionian Sea. Overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean waves, this 5-star resort offers a multitude of activities and facilities that will keep you entertained and smiling throughout your holiday. Discover the numerous treatments that are on the offer in the lavish wellness and spa centre, such as a variety of massages, a sauna as well as a hammam, go for a workout in the gym, swim in the private pools or have a stab at the wide range of water sports that are available to try at the beach immediately in front of the resort. A chic and modern style runs through the overall theme of the Lesante Blu and nowhere is this more apparent than in the fully air-conditioned, spacious rooms. Blending the natural light with easy colour tones and comfortable features, guests can enjoy a private base where contemporary décor and luxury mirror the stunning views of the sea and surroundings. Throughout the day you can enjoy drinks and light snacks from one of the three bars that are located conveniently around the resort, and as the evening envelopes the island, you can dress up for a bit of fine dining at one of the two restaurants. The Gaia Main Restaurants serves up delicious dishes in a buffet style, while the Melia Restaurant lets you dine a la carte on gourmet Greek and international cuisine. It is also possible to arrange for private dining al fresco if you’re seeking to celebrate a special occasion.
A small island strategically placed in the Ionian Sea, its diverse and rich history is visible down to the fact that it bears two names. Zante (the Venetian name) -or Zakynthos (the Greek), is a delightful blend of Italian and Greek heritage painted against a natural canvas of sugar-white beaches, turquoise water and tall, wild cliffs.
The Venetians nicknamed the island the Flower of the Levant, due to its flourishing greenery and its enchanting nature. Along the south and west coast, you’ll find the relaxing beaches of Laganas and Agios Nikolaos, where luxurious hotels with complementing restaurants and bars are situated. The eastern coast is more rugged and less populated. The hills and cliffs near the city of Keri offer breathtaking vistas across the island and the sparkling Ionian Sea and towards the north, one of the most famous nature spots on the island can be encountered. Named after a sunken ship that was washed ashore and still sits here, Shipwreck Beach sits perfectly against the white cliffs that surround the stunningly turquoise water. Relax by the beach, go for a swim or try your hands at various water sports that are available throughout the island. Alternatively, you can also go on boat tours to explore the beautiful Blue Caves that break the gentle waves just east of Cape Skinari.
