We spent three nights at the Sunborn and really enjoyed our time there. The yacht is a real landmark that you can see from all over Gibraltar, and the interior lives up to the first impression that you get of it as you see it from the plane flying in. We stayed in a deluxe room and it had everything you would expect; spacious and with a great view out over the harbour and Spain. The yacht is close to the runway and gives a great view of the planes coming and going, but it's not too noisy. The room was clean and well maintained, everything controlled from the bedside control panel. The bathroom was very good, with a powerful shower that was easy to adjust to the right settings. Breakfast was excellent, with a fantastic selection of cooked food, fruit, cereal, pastries etc available until 10:30, and all the staff at the hotel were very polite and helpful. The yacht is in an excellent location: ten minutes’ walk from the airport / border and five minutes from the main square. There are plenty of restaurants within ten minutes’ walk of the yacht and, given the size of Gibraltar, all the other key places to visit, from the Cable Car to the Catalan Beach, see within half an hour's walk.We were really sorry to have to leave at the end of our stay; the yacht had already started to feel like home and was the perfect place to enjoy Gibraltar from. We were lucky enough to get a very good package deal with Fleetway Travel; if we can get a similar deal in future we will definitely stay again.
