5* Montiboli Hotel

Set in an impressive cliffside location ruling the Mediterranean Sea, in the outskirts of Villajoyosa fishing village, El Montiboli Hotel is a privileged resort surrounded by sea, beaches and hills. The hotel is set over a cliff between two beaches: La Caleta (the Little Cove) and L’Esparrello (from both of them you can access the hotel). La Caleta: The hotel bar provides towel and parasol services for this beach. You can access this beach coming down from the hotel gardens or also using the hotel minaret- type lifts that also come down to Minaret Restaurant, at the seaside. L’Esparrello is the wildest option, descending from the hotel stairway right down the cliff. This beach is classified as nudist.

 

 

 

El Montiboli Hotel has three restaurants: The Emperor Restaurant: this elegant, warm restaurant provides a unique setting to recreate the marvellous authors kitchen of our chef Jean Marc Sanz, exclusively based on using the freshest products. The Minaret Restaurant: just at the sea shore, surrounded by palm trees and with a seafront location, it is the ideal setting to try the varied and delicious local cooking: rices and fishes. Josep, our rice master, will show it to us from the freshest Mediterranean products. Open lunchtime only, and from Easter to October. The Knight’s Lounge: private lounge of medieval atmosphere and classic decoration, ideal for special celebrations not exceeding 12 persons. Includes annexe wine cellar. The hotel was awarded the Excellence in Kitchen Hygiene Certification, given by the Public Health Department of the Autonomous Government of the Valencian Region to those establishments complying with maximum requirements in kitchen hygiene matters. And three bars: Alhambra: exquisitely decorated with Arab reminiscences and superb views over the cliff, making a real pleasure to take some snack or coffee. In the evening, stars and constellations re-creating the Northern hemisphere in the ceiling will embrace our conversations while we taste the most suggestive cocktail specialities. La Proa Bar: bar service to pool in summer season. La Caleta Bar: bar service to beach, from April to October.

There are three swimming pools in the hotel: one kidney-shaped located over the cliff and with wonderful views, the heated swimming pool (beside the SPA) and the swimming pool in Paradise Tower, also overlooking the sea. Montiboli Spa, located beside the heated swimming pool, includes gym, sauna, steam baths, whirlpool bath, UVA rays, hairdresser´s, massages, seaweed and mud treatments, beauty and body treatments ... a real care for body and spirit. At the new Health and Beauty centre, hotel guests will enjoy a personal treatment in an ideal surrounding for relaxing and recovering energy.

The hotel’s rooms are elegantly and functionally decorated. Large and comfortable, they provide every comfort a 5 star rating hotel deserves, as well as pleasant balconies overlooking the sea. The hotel has double rooms, doubles for single use, singles, junior suites (double room with lounge), suites, Presidential Suite and bungalows.
