The exotic scents of pine, eucalyptus, and tamarisk in the air will ensure your trip to Agadir in Southern Morocco will never fade in your memory. And not surprisingly, this popular tourist destination features on numerous travel websites for 2014 holidays. A European report located in North Africa, with a great beach and a variety of food and nightlife, Agadir was virtually rebuilt following the tragic earthquake in 1960. Today Agadir is a beautiful holiday resort combining sandy beaches with modern city facilities. Excellent value travel packages, hotel deals, and flight tickets are available for holidays in Agadir on many internet travel sites, with some of the best bargains on Fleetway Travel.

Morocco is located on the westernmost tip of north Africa, bordering Algeria to the east and Mauritania to the south and southeast, the Atlantic ocean to the west and the Mediterranean to the north. Running through the middle of the country is the Atlas mountain range, which leads to the fertile plains and sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast.
This vibrant African nation has something to please everyone, from an exotic culture with Arabic, French and Spanish influences to camel rides and traditional Berber villages. Choose a colourful carpet at Agadir's souk and find your way along ancient alleyways to the heart of magical Marrakech, or see the ancient Roman city of Volubilis and approach Taroudant's pink-hued city walls across the sands of the Sahara. Sample the culture and see the sights then relax on Agadir's golden sands. To imbibe the spirit of Morocco, wander the streets of the great cities.
Fés - the ancient capital - has a stunning array of medieval buildings, while Marrakech compels attention, its world-famous souk selling a bewildering array of goods; both hark back to the Arab dynasties that ruled the country from the Muslim conquest. Morocco's charm lies in its diversity. For sun-worshippers, there are miles of beaches, while inland lies Berber country where, among the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, the energetic can walk or trek. Beyond the Atlas are the fringes of the Sahara, where the caravans once stopped on their way south to trade in spice and ivory. Whether scaling distant ridges, idling by the sea, haggling for exotic artifacts, gazing at ancient wonders or marvelling at the pink and indigo of a desert dawn, you will be mesmerised.

"The most polite staff on Earth! Beautiful pools, gardens, and the beach is awesome! The bed and the washroom's rugs were always decorated with new rose petals, the sunset from our window was incredible."

"Wonderful experience"
***** Written on: 27 May 2014
"This hotel was wonderful - we were upgraded to a room with sea view (it was our honeymoon) and it was so beautiful to see the sunset over the sea just after having arrived at the hotel. The grounds are amazingly pretty, the beach was perfect (fenced off area from the public beach), very clean, it got very windy at lunchtime (October ...) so we spent the afternoons in the great pool area in one of the secluded wooden huts - lovely! Terrific food with a different theme every evening. Very good breakfast. The entertainment programme (in the inner courtyard, during the evening) may not be for everyone but you don't have to watch it. However, as we didn't like Agadir as a destination (there is nothing nice apart from the beach and even beach cafes are whithout charm, city is awful so we mostly stayed in the hotel), next time we would go to Sofitel in Essaouira."

"Luxurious and welcoming"
***** Written on: 24 April 2014
"We have just returned from a four day break and could not have chosen a better place for the rest we all wanted. The staff were amazing they could not do enough for you and we waited for nothing. There were plenty of sun beds around the pool and on the beach . The staff were always there to sort you out with towels, beds and umbrellas . The food was delicious and my 15 year old daughter loved the breakfasts so there was no problems with getting her up in the morning. The hotel is beautifully furnished in Moroccan style and the bedrooms clean and comfortable We shall be returning it's an ideal short break and not far form the airport "
