Concept
The ultimate all inclusive holiday for couples, 24 hour dining,
includes three meals daily plus snacks and wine with lunch and
dinner. Unlimited international premium brand drinks from a
choice of four bars. A variety of land and water sports plus
organised off-property excursions.
Bar services
The Terrace Bar opens from 12.30 to 3.30pm and again at 5.30pm
until 12 midnight. The Pool Bar opens at 10am until 5.30pm,
the Beach Bar from 10am until 12 midnight, the Piano Bar opens
for cocktails at 6pm and closes when the last guest leaves.
The bar at Otaheite is open during dining hours and there is
a Piano bar open in the evenings.
Dining
In addition to three speciality restaurants and a casual Beach
Grill, Couples offers a 24-hour dining service. Continental
breakfast is offered in the privacy of your own room from 6.30am
until 10am or in the Cassava Terrace Restaurant until 10.30am.
The Cassava Terrace also offers lavish lunch buffets and fine
dining in the evening. Our gourmet restaurant Otaheite is open
for dinner only by reservation offering fine French cuisine
and impeccable service. The Grill Restaurant serves a variety
of local Mediterranean dishes several evenings a week.
Entertainment
There is nightly entertainment from the resident band plus
a variety of local entertainers and cabaret artists with a Beach
party on Monday nights. A resident pianist plays each evening
and there is a disco every Friday in the Piano Bar.
Activities
Land sports include four tennis courts (2 lit for night play),
basketball, aerobics, beach and pool volleyball, art and craft
classes, and golf at the nearby 18-hole Negril Hills golf course
with free transportation and green fees. There is also an air
conditioned Fitness Centre with Cybex equipment and a Cardio
Room.
Water sports include scuba diving (PADI 5 star facility) with
30 dive sites to choose from for an interesting underwater adventure,
waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling, kayaks, and
glass bottom boat trips. All include professional instruction.
In addition to the above facilities, there is an outdoor games
room with board games, pool, table tennis and darts, plus satellite
television.
There are 2 Jacuzzis situated at either end of the large freshwater
swimming pool which has a swim-up bar.
Excursions
Couples offers guests the opportunity to explore Jamaica and
make new friends with trips to a local bar, shopping tours to
Negril, a sunset Catamaran cruise and a daytime Catamaran cruise.
Additional facilities
Complimentary internet and email access is available for all
guests including the introduction of wireless technology. A
wide menu of beauty, spa and massage treatment is available
at extra cost plus shopping at the on-site boutique and gift
shop.
Free weddings
Should you decide to get married at Couples Negril, we will
arrange your wedding free of charge*. This service includes
the Minister, decorated location of your choice, flowers for
the bride and groom, a Wedding Cake and Champagne. In addition,
wedding and honeymoon guests will also receive a complimentary
half hour massage. Further details available on request.
