Single Garden View Room
For those travelling on their own (or for teenagers with parents
in house), we have created a new block of dedicated single rooms.
These rooms are generous for a single room and are fabulously
furnished with Pulaski Collection furniture and a Queen size,
four-poster bed. The bathroom is a little smaller than the double
rooms. They have a garden view only and do not have balconies.
Please note that these rooms are priced as a single with no
supplement to pay.
Luxury Rooms, Luxury Ocean View and Luxury Ocean Front
Rooms
These rooms feature four-poster, draped king size bed or two
twin beds. They have all the comforts of home and more: mini
fridge, marble floors, rattan chairs and writing desk, soft
goods are in pastel colours, walls are decorated with rare hummingbird
prints, bathrooms have marble vanity with two sinks and French
doors open out onto a balcony or terrace, where you can relax
on the patio furniture.
Grand Luxury Ocean Front Rooms
These grand rooms are in a four-story building adjacent to
the sea, and feature marble floors. These rooms were completed
in 1999 and are richly furnished with mahogany and a King size,
four-poster bed. There is a mini fridge, luxurious large marbled
bathroom with bath and shower, private toilet, marble makeup
vanity, separate marble sink vanity and a generous terrace with
patio furniture, from where you can enjoy the ocean.
Grand Luxury Ocean Front Junior Suites
These rooms are similar to the Grand Luxury Ocean Front Rooms
in furnishings but have the added luxury of a comfortable and
beautiful sitting room area.
Grand Luxury Ocean Front Suites
These stylish rooms are located on the top floor of a two-story
building adjacent to the sea. Both suites have a bedroom and
a living room divided by double doors and adjoining another
guest room, giving guests the choice of a two-bedroom suite.
Each suite has a wet bar and CD player in the sitting room and
luxurious marble floors. The double balcony features a table
and loungers.
All inclusive
Water sports
There is a wide range of sports facilities that guests can
enjoy - snorkelling (deposit required), scuba diving (boat dives
at extra cost), waterskiing, windsurfing, Hobie cats, kayaking,
an activity pool with water aerobics and volleyball, a freshwater
swimming pool and an oasis pool.
Land sports
As for land sports, guests can have tennis lessons on the 2
floodlit courts, golf lessons at the golf academy, play golf
on the nearby championship 18-hole course (green fees and transport
included), guided cycling tours, fencing (complete with gear),
archery lessons, and volleyball daily on the beach. Guests can
work up a sweat in the fully equipped gyms, half-hour one-on-one
half hour personal instruction, jogging, walks, various types
of aerobics, stretch classes, table tennis, selection of board
games, soft adventure programmes, calypso dancing lessons, cocktail
mixing classes, tropical flower arranging, Yoga, Pilates, T'ai
Chi, meditation, stress management... there really is something
to suit everyone.
Restaurants and bars
Every appetite and taste is catered for in the selection of
restaurants. Choose from Cariblue, which specialises in formal
buffets (some dishes require a local charge, and there is no
smoking before 9pm). The Clubhouse has daily afternoon tea and
casual evening dining. Deli serves healthy salads and snacks
on the beachfront. TAO is an award winning east/west fusion
cuisine in a formal environment (some dishes may require a local
charge, and guests must book 48 hours in advance). Breakfast
is served at Cariblue, lunch at Cariblue and Deli, afetrnoon
tea at Clubhouse, and dinner at Cariblue, Clubhouse and TAO.
The Clubhouse Bar serves alcoholics and non-alcoholic drinks
during the day, and the Piano Bar serves drinks until late.
Every night at Cariblue, there is a steel band or strolling
guitarist, or vocalist. The Clubhouse has lively limbo dancing,
fire eating, staff shows, and live or recorded music with the
DJ until late. The Piano Bar has a pianist each evening. The
Oasis hosts the Manager's weekly cocktail party every Wednesday.
Spa
Get your rest and relaxation at the OASIS Spa. One 50 minute
spa treatment is included every day except for arrival and deprture
days. La Therapy is a beauty salon offering skin care, treatments
and make up. There are specialist therapists providing Ayurvedic
treatments like Hasta, Padabhyanga, Shiro Dhara etc., and internationally
trained Reflexologist and Holistic counsellor. The Natural Health
Practitioner can perform Therapeutic massage, Shiatsu, Myofascia
release, Trigger point release, muscle tension among other treatments,
and guests can also benefit from the Holistic practitioner specialising
in Nutrition, Iridology, Kinesiology and Reflexology.
Specific OASIS spa treaments by Elemis feature in the all inclusive
basis: choose from Exotic Devils mint body scrub, Cellutox Aroma
ocean wrap, Musclease Aroma spa ocean wrap, massage treatments
for women (choice of deep tissue de-stressor, deep tissue Chakra
balancer, deep tissue detox, deep tissue muscle revive), massage
treatments for men (Choice of de-stressor, muscle revive and
detox), Aromapure facials for women (Choice of hydrating exotic
dew, active deep cleansing, repairing herbal lavendar and absolute

The location
The BodyHoliday at LeSPORT is situated on the Northwest tip
of the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. The resort is situated
on Cariblue’s crescent beach and is surrounded by 18 acres
of lush tropical gardens. It is just a thirty minutes drive
from the capital, Castries and George F.L. Charles airport,
and one hour and thirty minutes from Hewanorra International
airport.
The hotel
In 1999 The BodyHoliday at LeSPORT received renovation of its
rooms and facilities. 53 new rooms and luxury junior suites
were added, and renovations where performed on the lobby and
reception, bars, terraces, pools and public areas. Bathrooms
of the existing rooms were upgraded and a Jacuzzi added to the
main pool area.
TAO, a new restaurant, was opened in April 1999 and serves
East-West Fusion cuisine. This one-of-a-kind restaurant is open
to guests of The BodyHoliday as well as residents of the island.
The Piano Bar and Terrace Bar were completely revamped and
the new-look Terrace Bar has been renamed ‘The ClubHouse’.
Finally, a beautiful new wooden deck was installed near TAO
and now contains The Deli, The BodyHoliday’s latest food
and drink addition.
Body treatments
The focus of The BodyHoliday at LeSPORT is the Oasis, the most
amazing and comprehensive centre of health and well-being in
the Americas. Here guests have a programme of body treatments
designed to relax and rejuvenate both mind and body. This schedule
of treatments is included in the holiday price and is likely
to include: Aromatherapy, Oasis Rejuvenating Facials, Swedish
Massage, Hand and Foot Reflex Therapy, Hair and Scalp Treatment,
Thalasso Wrap, Hydrotherapy, Ginger Lily & Lime Glow, Deluxe
Coconut and Spice Combo, Hot and cold plunge pools.
Guests may also choose from a range of A La Carte body treatments
including the Ayurvedic treatments available at the Oasis as
well as special treatments available at La Therapy. Please note
that these treatments are available at an extra charge and are
subject to availability.
BodyAware programmes
Guests at The BodyHoliday can also arrange a one-on-one consultation
with one of our BodyGuides to set up a individualised fitness
programme. The BodyGuides will recommend the kind of exercise
that best suits each person’s needs - good excerise habits
that guests can take home with them! The suggestions are always
made with each guest’s “route to success”
in mind. Age and level of fitness play an important role in
the recmmendations made. Fitness and diet can never be separated,
so the BodyGuide will suggest a intergration of diet and exercise
with optimum health and energy in mind. In-depth workshops and
personal consultations are also available with the resident
dietician. With the variety of exercise and stretch classes
available, there is something to suit everyone. Guests can also
make arrangements with a personal trainer in the gymnasium.
