City Breaks to Gdansk

Gdansk, now more thriving than other cities of its kind! The city on the Southern edge of the Gdansk Bay, Polands principle seaport. With so much to offer to the modern traveler this city with a difference is amazing value. Cheap holidays and last minute deals to Gdansk must be had.

Gdansk, the birth place of Lech Walesa played a major role in the ending of the communist regime and it really is apparent in this glammed up city of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and of course hotels. With the city enjoying a temperate climate, the summer months are pleasantly warm and even better, sunny, Gdansk can really hit that spot. Whilst in the city, the Old Town and long street is where the best attractions are. Golden Gate is located at one end of the road, it was destroyed in the war but has been rebuilt and restored to its original beauty. Upland gate and the Prison tower are also definitely to be explored. For those of you that enjoy strolling around the cities there is a number of eye-popping churches too, or just sit back and relax in one of the many inviting cafes. With Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport so close by and tonnes of hotels a cheap holiday to Poland has never been so easy.
