The hotel was built in 1850 and tastefully renovated in 2002, as well as fitted with air conditioning in 2002. It has a total of 64 rooms on 6 floors (doubles, singles, triples and family rooms) and combines a traditional ambiance with modern designs. Guests arrive in a welcoming lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange desk and lifts. Additional facilities include a café, a snack bar, TV room, a non-smoking restaurant, a conference room, a games room and 2 free Internet terminals. There is also a laundry service, bicycle rental (additional fees apply), as well as a car park (50 m away and also for an additional fee) and play area on offer.

The hotel has won a prize for the best renovation 2002-2004.
