The old Palace of Mena House has exquisitely crafted interiors
in traditional style with filigree fretwork and intricately
carved panelling, fine murals, gilding, inlaid mother-of-pearl
and handcrafted mosaic tiles. Furnished with original works

Khan El Khalili
Open 24 hours.
Named after the famous Cairo market, Khan El Khalili serves
coffee and light Egyptian and Continental meals 24 hours a day.
The interior features figured brass tabletops, marble floor
and intricate plaster ceiling. Tall arched windows give views
over the landscaped gardens.
The Greenery
In the Garden wing. Open for buffet breakfast, snacks and light
refreshments, Mediterranean style.
The Moghul Room
For a taste of India. Specialises in Indian cuisine. Open for
dinner.
Al Rubayyat
Open 7.30pm-11.00pm for Dinner.
Offers a continental menu in majestic surroundings. The palace
restaurant features high carved wooden ceilings, huge arches,
ornate brass lanterns, and fretwork galleries.
The Oasis
Poolside restaurant and coffee shop, open 9am to sunset.
The Oasis has a stunning view of the pyramids. It offers a wide
selection of dishes in a self-selection buffet. Special rates
apply for children aged 6-10
Bars and Clubs
The Sultan Bar has panoramic views of the pyramids. Dance the
night away at The Saddle discotheque or go native with contemporary
Egyptian music and belly dancing at the Abu Niwas Night Club.
Swimming Pool
Open 9am to sunset.
The outdoor pool is set in landscaped gardens with a fabulous
view of the Pyramids. The Oasis coffee shop serves snacks and
light refreshments all day.
The Minigym is open 24 hrs a day. De-stress and tone up here
on the Exercycle, Fit Cycle, Multigym, Steppers and Treadmills.
The use of all gym equipment is free to hotel guests. There
is an 18-hole course right on the doorstep, with distracting
views of the pyramids. Mena House is the only hotel in Cairo
with its own golf course. Horseback and Camel Riding are available
at the stables. The most romantic way to visit the Pyramids.
