Why stick to just Egypt? Extend your Egypt holiday by travelling elsewhere
in the Middle East. Here are some of our favourite destinations, to whet
your appetite for travel...

Abu Dhabi
Wealthiest of all the Emirates in UAE and federal capital, Abu Dhabi
is one of the richest cities in the world. For an average tourist,
this is one of the safest tourist destinations in the world with some
of the best tourist facilities you can get. More than anything else,
it is a major shopping destination what with shopping festivals being
held throughout the year. Abu Dhabi has a whole range of exciting
activities awaiting you. For an average tourist the place seems like
an endless paradise of fun. Activities range from shopping in the
upmarket shops to haggling in the souk (market), travelling in an
air conditioned limousine to riding a camel in the desert, dining
in five-star luxury to sampling Bedouin hospitality under the night
sky. |

Dubai
Most internationally flavoured of all seven Emirates of United Arab
Emirates and shopping capital of Middle East, Dubai is a place hard
to ignore. With a history that goes far back and a present that is
vibrating with trade, tradition, celebration and sporting events,
Dubai is an ultimate destination for many. Sightseeing, exploring
the places beyond the city limits, having some fun in the amusement
parks, and shopping in the duty free shops of Dubai are some of the
options that you may like to explore when you are here. The best time
of the year to visit Dubai is between November and April, when the
weather is coolest. The rest of the year you're more likely to be
running from one air-conditioned environment to the next instead of
getting out and exploring. |

Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv (literally meaning "Hill of Spring") is located
on the Mediterranean coast, at a distance of around 35 miles from
Jerusalem. Capital of Israel from 1948 to 1970, it is the largest
metropolitan city of Israel. Tel Aviv however, is not one, but a combination
of two cities - Tel Aviv and Jaffa - one ancient and the other entirely
modern. With the passage of time, the twin cities have merged into
each other and it is hard to determine where one ends and the other
begins. Tel Aviv is an exciting city with a host of activities to
look forward to. Hiking, horse riding, and surfing can be of particular
interest to the visitors. Exploring the past and present attractions
of the city however, should be the first priority. These apart, the
city is dotted with a number of theatres, concerts, and nightclubs
besides a variety of shopping centres. |

Bahrain
Bahrain, a group of 33 islands, is situated in the Arabian Gulf, off
the east coast of Saudi Arabia. The state takes its name from the
largest island Bahrain, which is 586.5 square kilometres. It is linked
by causeways to Muharraq (international airport) and Sitra (industrial
area and tank-farm). There are numerous other tiny islands, but they
are mainly uninhabited and are best known for the variety of migrating
birds which pass through in spring and autumn. No visit to Bahrain
would be completed without a trip to the soukh , with its profusion
of colours, sounds, and aromas. All wares are sold, from cloth to
gold and jewellery as well as the traditional array of spices and
local produce. Bartering is expected, and indeed turns the whole experience
of shopping into a challenge to see who can obtain the best price. |

Doha
Doha, the capital city of Qatar, is situated on the bank of the Arabian
Gulf. Earlier Doha was known as one of the busy pearl fishing villages
in the South East Arabia of Persian Gulf. This picturesque, tiny deep
water port is one of the most important cities of Middle East today.
Doha, with its accommodating nature, is an intriguing mixture of old
and new tradition of Arab. Today Doha serves as the only base point
to travel in Qatar. Doha is the choicest destination to unwind. Being
here you can choose the number of options available here to charge
up yourself and have some real fun. |
