There is a large exotic swimming pool, a separate childrens
swimming pool and sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge whereas
the sunbeds and umbrellas on the sandy beach are provided with
an extra charge. Guests have an indoor heated swimming pool
at their disposal (according to the weather conditions). All
swimming pools are with sweet water. The entertainment team
organizes sport activities on a daily basis such as beach volleyball,
basketball, mini soccer, ping-pong and fitness. Drinks at the
main bar & the pool bar between 24:00 & 01:00, tennis
classes & floodlight tennis, massage, sauna and several
water sports operated by a third party are available at a charge.
The AI programme consists of American breakfast (07:00-10:00),
Continental breakfast (10:00-11:00), lunch (12:30-14:30) and
dinner (18:30-21:30), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant
Dionysos. Late dinner is available at Venus snack bar between
22:00 & 24:00 (dress code applies). Lunch & dinner are
also offered at Venus snack bar. An A la Carte restaurant (dinnertime)
is at the disposal of the AI guests serving different International
specialties such as Greek or Italian cuisine and various seafood
specialties (plus show cooking). A children’s restaurant
offers a variety of children meals (3 appetizers, 3 main courses,
salads, dessert, ice cream, etc). Selection of warm and cold
snacks, sandwiches, pizza, hamburgers, hot-dogs, salads, fruit,
desserts, ice cream, etc are served from 10:00-24:00 (Venus
snack bar) or from 10:00–18:00 (Diogenis beach restaurant).
Breakfast baskets for guests departing between 06:00 & 07:00
as well as lunch baskets for excursions are also available (order
one day in advance before 18:30 at the reception).
During meals soft drinks, juices, locally produced wine &
beer are offered at the main restaurant and at the tavern. Fresh
fruit & ice-chilled water is served at the beach. The Vienna
Cafeteria serves various delicious cookies, biscuits & cakes
from 16:00-18:00 every day at the coffee shop (gelateria). Evening
coffee & tea are available. Unlimited consumption of locally
produced alcoholic beverages, imported drinks, cocktails, beer,
soft drinks and water are offered at selected bars; main bar
(18:00-24:00), gelateria (10:00-24:00, 16:00-18:00 open as coffee
shop), internet cafe (11:00-24:00), pool bar (10:00-24:00),
beach bar (10:00-18:00). Mini bar filled with beer, water and
soft drinks (re-filled every two days) is also available in
every room.
Sport facilities at the hotel include two hard-ground tennis
courts, fitness room & sauna (10:00–18:00), billiards,
aerobics, table-tennis, beach soccer, mini golf, water-polo,
5 x 5 mini soccer mundialito, basketball and water sports such
as canoe & windsurfing (use of windsurfing only with a valid
license). A multi-language entertainment team offers daytime
& evening activities as well as games like musicals, cabarets,
sketch, shows at the hotel’s amphitheatre (up to 600pax)
and competition games. There is also a Greek evening (Greek
music & folklore dancing) & Orient show once a week.
Available for children are kids’ pool, open-air playground,
mini club (4-12 yrs) and a junior club (12-16 yrs, open from
10:00–12:00 & 15:00–17:00) with especially trained
staff to supervise variety of programmes and children’s
activities.
The hotel has as total of 356 rooms with either a sea or garden
view. Each room is equipped with full bathroom with bathtub
and hairdryer, 24hr air conditioning (1June-30 September), balcony
or terrace, satellite TV, in-house music channel, direct dial
telephone, small fridge and a safety deposit box. ROOM SERVICE:
available 24 hour/ day (3.- Euros per order). Free of charge:
beach towels at the swimming pool and the beach with a deposit
of 10.- Euros for each towel. Towels will be washed once a week.
Sun beds and umbrellas at the swimming pool as well as the beach
are free of charge.
