January 2010 - staying at 5*PESTANA RIO ATLANTICA
The hotel was in a great location and the roof top bar and pool were a plus. Staff very helpful and polite. I would agree with other reviews I read that the rooms are dated and the hotel could do with a re-furb where the rooms are concerned but there are not really any negatives. The inclusive breakfast was adequate and the staff were flexible. Did not eat at the restaurant but the menu looked good. The hotel seemed to be popular with a variety of people: families, business groups and couples.
