About the Hotel

Located in the most noble area of Praia, “Prainha”, near to the international embassies and up in the cliff over the sea, the Oasis Atlantico Praiamar hotel is not only specially prepared to welcome business travellers, but also leisure travellers that want to discover the capital of Cape Verde or the village that for a long time had one of the most famous political prisons of Portugal, Tarrafal. The hotel was totally renewed in 2003.

Food & Beverage
In the Atlantic Restaurant guests will find an excellent service and they will be able to choose between traditional Capeverdian gastronomy and the more sophisticated Portuguese and International cuisine. Open from 07.00 until 23.00. The hotel also offers four bars: the Panorama Bar for late afternoons with a fantastic sea view, music, and cocktails, the Ocean Bar located in front of the reception for light drinks or snacks, the Pool Bar for a relaxed meal near the pool and its Sunday’s buffets with music entertainment, and the Capital Cafe-concert which is a unique space in the city where the most important musical events take place. Here guests can appreciate live music or dance all night long to the sound of African and international music. Access to the Capital Café-concert is free to all hotel guests.

Meeting Facilities
The complex has a business centre as well as the most modern and well equipped conference room in Cape Verde, which includes a simultaneous translation system for three languages. It has a 200 persons capacity in theatre format or 100 persons in school format. It is the ideal place for international events or to develop business meetings or congresses.
