Grenada, one of the more southerly islands in the Caribbean. A stunning summer hot-spot for couples and families. Being such a small island – only 21 miles long and 12 miles wide, you can easily explore the whole island. The lovely Grenada offers you miles and miles of sun-bleached beaches, known as the spice island, Grenada is home to a third of the world’s nutmeg! Venture inland to explore the luscious forests, volcanic crater lakes, hot sulphur springs and jungles. The Grand Etang National Park is a great place to spot monkeys and tropical birds as well as a swim in the Concord Falls.

Make a day trip of visiting the capital St George, boasting the fabulous spice markets. Cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg really fill the air! St George is also home to the Carenage natural harbour. Covered with brightly painted 19th century houses! The Fort George is well worth a visit, built by the French way back in 1705. The fort is the best place for picturesque views of the harbour. Other great days out are tours of the spice plantations and the rum distilleries.
Make the most of the beautifully beaches whilst on holiday in Grenada, with rolling hills as their backdrops, also hosting stunning coral reefs. Most of the hotels are around the gorgeous Grand Anse beach area. Boss and Molinaire reefs are very popular as well as the fascinating large ship wrecks!
