February 2010 - staying at MELIA CAYO COCO
Really enjoyed my stay at Melia Cayo Coco. The staff are friendly & gave excellant service.The buffet & the 3 individual restaurants served superb food.
The beach is lovley.
The weather in Feb was not great. Mostly cloudy but not too cold - a bit like a nice spring day in England. No snow though! Got around 4 good sunbathing days out of the 2 weeks, and only 2 days of solid rain.
Really enjoyed the scuba diving with the Blue Diving School (an extra cost).
The rooms are nice but smelled a bit musty.
I would definely go to this hotel again, maybe in Feb/March rather than earlier in the year - to get better weather.
