January 2012 - staying at SEA SUN HOTEL
The hotel is in a wonderful location and has a very welcoming lounge/reception area. The staff are very friendly but the management is really poor. Some rooms had a bad smell - and we were first put in one of these even though only a couple of days earlier another English couple had moved from that room after complaining. We had to keep requesting toilet paper (how embarrassing!) and there was often no wine. Spirits also ran out (there were no heavy drinkers). Personal complaints to the manager resulted eventually in a slow but inadequate response - after a couple of days they would buy just a small amount at a time and run out again within a day or two!! Perhaps they're going broke ... Also, your/their website should make clear that it is NOT a buffet selection of food when there are only a few guests. Meals were served at the table, no choice and too much on a plate, which meant not many guests ever cleared their plates, which looks so wasteful. However, we were there for 4 weeks - and didn't want to come home! Overall very good value for money. Excellent position for snorkelling and scuba diving. Excellent trips available.September 2011 - staying at SEA SUN HOTEL
On arrival at our hotel we were very disappointed, as it was not what we were expecting. It was certainly not a four star hotel, and was still in the process of being updated. Although it was sold to us as all inclusive, it was in fact full board (breakfast, dinner and evening meal ) with a limited choice of alcoholic beverages....wine was only available at meals. Bottles of water were only available if we paid for them. Although we were told we were booked into a sea view room, this was not the case on arrival. The drains both inside and outside the room were dreadful. The food was repetitive and limited (beef, chicken or fish) and sometimes cold or inedible. Entertainment was non existent and the gym was an empty room. There was no rep at the hotel or assigned to it. Having gone to Sharm el Sheik last year to a superb hotel with 24hour all inclusive for less money, we were expecting a small quiet hotel with the same standards, and feel we were mis-sold this hotel. On a more positive note, the location was wonderful, and the weather glorious. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were clean.
We have used you for several holidays, but would certainly do a lot more research before we took your advice again.
September 2011 - staying at SEA SUN HOTEL DAHAB
This hotel is an appalling waste of massive potential. Food is terrible and not aimed at the European market. Rooms are very worn and in need of refurbish. Overall tatty and rundown. A shame because it is right on the beach with a jetty giving access to a reef where you can swim amongst the most beautiful fish, see many colourful coral. Like swimming in a crystal clear salt water aquarium. You have stunning sunrises opposite you on the far side of the sea. The hotel has massive potential but is very disappointing. The one next door is the one I would go to again.September 2011 - staying at TROPITEL DAHAB OASIS
Loved it, loved it and loved it !! The staff of Tropitel makes the hotel. They are amazing, friendly, helpful and witty. We've been twice and will return again. Location wise it's perfect for us as we love to snorkel and Blue hole is 10 by taxi or 40 min walk which is great. The coral in front of the hotel is stunning but holiday makers dont respect it :(From the day trips (Thank you Buchi and Zozo) to chef to barmen...everything is great.
We shall see you again Tropitel Dahab :)

A fabulous hotel for the money! The staff go that extra mile all the time, and are so friendly and helpful - anxious to make your holiday a really good one. There are events organised by the hotel - we attended a belly dancing evening and also a bedouin evening. Neither were expensive. The only dowside is that the hotel pool is unheated - but it is easy to get into the sea (warmer!) off a jetty.August 2010 - staying at TROPITEL DAHAB OASIS
Very good.July 2010 - staying at 4*iberotel dahabeya
Excellent hotel, excellent food, friendly staff. I would highly recommend a stay here. Take Euros as all tours/massage treatments and activities are priced in Euros, converting into Egyptian Pounds was a nusiance and done very 'loosely' which made things more expensive of course. Take a small amount of Egyptian currency, useful for purchases in the town.We had a fretful time with our return transfer to the airport (an hours drive away and organised by Fleetway), we were due to be picked up at 7.30am for our flight at 11am - the taxi eventually arrived at 8.15am then en-route it developed a fault and lost power, we were travelling at around 35mph until our driver stopped on the side of the road, picked up a piece of wire and spent 5 minutes installing it into the engine, which amazingly did the trick! We arrived at the airport 70 minutes after we expected to so found the whole thing very stressful. After security, checking in and passport control we only had a 15 minute wait in departures before we started boarding......not the best way to finish a lovely relaxing holiday! Other than the transfer problem we had a superb holiday and I would not hesitate in recommending the Iberotel. If you are not a diver make sure you take some trips out for snorkelling, (the Blue Hole is fantastic) the whole are is just as good, if not better than the Great Barrier Reef!
May 2010 - staying at TROPITEL DAHAB
I enjoyed my stay at the Tropitel. My only gripe was that on the day of our departure, we were not allowed any of the hotel facilities, not even water, after 12noon and our pickup was at 4:30. I think you could make special arrangements with the hotel so that they look after their "All Inclusive guests" untill the time of their pick up.May 2010 - staying at /HILTON DAHAB
All aspects of trip were excellent, flight superb, easy and swift transfer from Sharm to Dahab, Hilton very comfortable, great location staff couldnt do enough for you. Food a bit samey but this is quite normal in Egypt (and I'm quite fussy about food) always found something to eat. Would def go back again, lots of options for trips if you want them or just chill out without any hassle.February 2010 - staying at TROPITEL DAHAB OASIS 4*
