About the Hotel

The Sonesta St. George Hotel is only minutes away from Luxor Temple and Luxor Museum and in the center of the city’s shopping district. Settled in a modern seven-story building with a stucco facade. Featuring bay-shaped iron balconies and lower-level terraces, overlooking the Nile River.

The hotel consists of 224 luxurious guestrooms and suites. Features include remote-control television, air-conditioning, electronic door locks, radio, hair dryer, mini-bar, direct-dial telephone and safety-deposit box. All guestrooms are equipped with fire safety features.

Serapis is the main dining room, overlooking the Nile and hotel pool, serving breakfast buffet of International and Japanese selections, and dinner buffet with theme nights. Beban is the a la carte restaurant, overlooking the Nile and hotel pool, serving Italian specialties. Open daily for lunch and dinner. The Aladdin is situated in our conservatory overlooking the garden, it is a tantalizing oriental restaurant with a magnificent view of the Nile River, featuring grilled items and Middle Eastern specialties. Belly dancer show every Monday, Wednesday & Friday. The Miyako restaurant is the only authentic Japanese restaurant in Upper Egypt (at lobby level). Nobles is an English pub offering a grand view over the Nile to the lush green farmland on the far shore, and Lotus café is located by the hotel entrance serving, light snack menu, ice cream, French pastries, fresh juices, tea and coffee.

Outdoor heated swimming pool with separate children’s section, weekly activity program, fully equipped health and fitness center offering free weights, exercise and strength-training machines, massage, other activities, trips and competitions.
