Holidays To France
Located just over the English Channel and to the west of Europe France is a country that is very rich in culture, history and cuisine. Just a short distance from the UK, the main attraction of France is Paris which is known for being one of the most romantic cities in the world. Flights from London airports take less than an hour and Eurostar city breaks whisk you from London to Paris in well under three hours. It's a great pleasure to stroll around the streets, visiting famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, taking time every now and then to rest and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine at a pavement café. Paris attractions are plentiful, and it’s possible to come back year. The French take the food seriously and you may find your waistband expanding as you sample the fantastic seafood and pasta. The Wine is another big attraction with vineyards as up and coming attraction to tourists. City breaks in Paris are popular around Christmas when the area in front of the Hotel de Ville is converted into a giant skating rink, and Christmas markets fill the squares.
It's possible to take holidays in France all year round and taking breaks throughout the year to see the city in the changing seasons can be a memorable experience.
