Marseille is a great host to the music and fashion industries. This youthful city is now only 3 hours away from Paris and 6 hours away from London on the Euro star. Whilst on holiday in Marseille be sure to visit top attractions like the Mediterranean Archaeological Museum, the Museum of African, Oceanic and Native American Art and the 19th century Notre Dame de la Garde. The Chateau d’If is also a great day out, once a former chateau, built to protect the city from invasion, later became a prison that held Monte-Cristou!
The Old port is one of the best places to be. This has always been the hub of the city and is now home to many bars and restaurants. The fish market is also located here!
