About the Hotel

Away from the shoreline Club Marine Palace & Marine Palace Suites border the village of Panormo. It is a fishing traditional Cretan village with cafés, restaurants and shops. Bougainvillea-clad houses and taste of authentic Cretan rural life. Of course, when you fancy something more lively Rethymno is 20km away.

The Hotel & Rooms:
Club Marine Palace is built like a typical Cretan village. Lemon, mandarin and vanilla-coloured bungalows surround the large swimming pools. A winding path meanders between the main building, the cluster of bungalows on the upper level and the seafront bungalow village. The beautiful Marine Palace Suites are the epitome of luxury and style. The setting is spectacular, a fine cocktail of captivating sea views, blissful serenity combined with the more active life at the Grecotel Club Marine Palace. The suites, built in a peaceful area above the main hotel, encircle a tranquil pool surrounded by free sun beds & umbrellas.

Design-wise, the magnificent high ceiling lobby is a grand space with truly breathtaking views to the Cretan Sea. Yet the feeling of the guestrooms is cosy and relaxed. RESTAURANTS & BARS:

Main Restaurant
All Day Dining - International restaurant with Cretan overtones. The impressive Minoan decorative styles with murals from ancient Knossos are beautifully detailed and the culinary options range from traditional Greek and extend to the rest of the world. The Main Restaurant comes with buffet stations, show cooking and kids’ buffets. It offers starters, soup, main courses, salads and desserts. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Deep Blue Greek Taverna - The Greek Taverna by the sea offers drinks and snacks during the day and opens at 10:30 in the morning. Lunch time with a large choice of appetizers, salads, deserts, variety of different cheeses and sweeties. Mix grill with traditional gyro is prepared in front of you. Afternoon snack offers a variety of Greek sweets with coffee. In the evening it is an a la carte Greek taverna (prior reservations necessary). No extra charge. Open end-April to mid-October, weather permitting.

Riviera (Del Castello Di Milopotamo) - Mediterranean Gourmet Restaurant - Over in Riviera, the resort’s gourmet option, the focus is on Mediterranean haute cuisine and you may enjoy selected national wines (at extra charge, reservations necessary). Open end-April to mid-October, weather permitting.

Bamboo Nero - Asian Restaurant - The Resort’s Asian inspired environment with creative Asian cuisine. Enjoy delicious far eastern flavours in the al fresco dining area or around the impressive black rotundas indoors under the eye of a huge golden Buddha (high season, table reservations necessary).

Aqua Park - Pool Bar - A playground inside the water. A water slide, fountains, penguin-shaped showers and different water games are waiting our little friends and not only. Self service bar with soft drinks, ice-creams, beer and coffee for the older ones.

Agreco Farm - Cretan Organic Dining - No trip to Agreco would be complete without a visit to the farm’s Taverna, where a sumptuous six-course menu of Cretan dishes, based on the farm’s organic produce, is matched by the view over an amphitheatre of vineyards and olive groves to the distant sea beyond. Guests at Club Marine Place & Marine Place Suites wishing to enjoy Agreco’s unique culinary experience are entitled to a price reduction.

The four outdoor pools, the indoor pool, the Aqua Park and the beach offer a wide variety of swimming possibilities for all ages and all abilities.

The hotel lies in a sandy bay with 2 creeks with changing cabins and showers, sun beds and umbrellas free of charge. Beach towels available.

Safety - The resort goes to great lengths to put security measures in place to ensure the safety of all guests. However, we request that you keep a constant check on your children whenever they are not participating in an organized activity, especially around the swimming pools, lagoons and on the beach.

Pathways - As children can become disoriented in new surroundings, we suggest that you teach them your room number and, in the event that they are lost, they should contact any member of staff wearing a name badge.

Beach & Pool - We recommend that children wear suitable footwear at all times when outside to avoid accidents involving sharp sea shells, stones, etc. Sandals and beach shoes can be purchased at the Hotels boutique.
