About the Hotel

The Orion Hotel is located opposite the golden sandy beach in Adelianos Kampos, 6 km from the bustling town of Rethymnon on the island paradise of Crete. Set in charming gardens, this is a terrific all-inclusive hotel for couples and families with 78 comfortable double guestrooms boasting a host of amenities. Guests to the Orion Hotel can discover marvellous beaches and sleepy villages nearby along with a wide array of shops, restaurants, and traditional tavernas. The distance to Heraklion airport is approximately 80 km and to Chania airport approximately 70 km.

Local Tips: Rethymnon still maintains its old aristocratic appearance, with its buildings dating from the 16th century, arched doorways, stone staircases, Byzantine and Hellenic-Roman remains, small Venetian harbour and narrow streets.

Please note that the Orion Annex Hotel, which has 16 self-catering studios, is located a few buildings along the road from the Orion Hotel main building. Guests staying in the Orion Annex Hotel are able to use all the facilities in the Orion Hotel main building.

Room Facilities:
The Orion Hotel features 99 double or twin bed hotel rooms (maximum of 3 pax with pool/garden view). All rooms are air conditioned (with individual controls) and have a private bathroom, hair dryer, telephone, Satellite TV, radio, mini fridge, safe deposit box (at extra charge payable locally) and a balcony.

The Annex accommodation comprises of 16 modern furnished rooms. All rooms are air conditioned (with individual controls)-included in the price. All rooms have balcony and bathroom, satellite TV, kitchenette facilities , mini refrigerator, safety deposit box (extra charge). This accommodation is not suitable for disabled persons with walking difficulties as there is currently no provision for accessibility throughout the annex.

Hotel Facilities & Amenities
  • Food, drink and entertainment: All Inclusive accommodation. The hotel has a cocktail lounge, indoor/outdoor restaurant for up to 200 people and a snack bar. An American buffet breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 10:00 am, lunch buffet from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, dinner is a full buffet with fresh salads, cold and hot appetizers and three main courses as well as desserts from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. Vegetarian meals are available. Drinks during the meals include barrel wine, drought beer, soft drinks and mineral water. Picnic lunch baskets are available. In addition to the above, cold snacks and ice cream are on hand from 10am to 6pm, afternoon tea/coffee with cakes, biscuits and pastry from 4:30pm to 5:30 pm and the bar serves International and local alcoholic label drinks (brand name), draught beer and cocktails, soft drinks, juices and coffees from 10am to midnight.
  • Sports, games and activities: Outdoor swimming pool, sun terraces, free sun beds and umbrellas, children's playground, table tennis, beach facilities with excellent water sport possibilities, Satellite TV and video lounge, play room, nightly entertainment program twice a week with Greek night and disco night.
  • Additional: Reception, Free Wi-Fi internet access (in the main building only). There is also an internet corner (in the main building only) which is at extra charge payable locally. Cocktail Lounge, Indoor/Outdoor Restaurant for up to 200 people, Snack Bar, Satellite TV, Play Room, Swimming Pool and Sun Terraces, Children’s Playground, Evening Entertainment twice a week. There is also parking.
