August 2010 - staying at ALMYRIDA BEACH HOTEL
My wife and I really enjoyed staying at Almyrida Beach hotel. Really good service and the food was really good. Great location and the A.C in the rooms really worked well and was needed!!!August 2010 - staying at AQUIS SILVER BEACH

We travelled with 2 adults and a 10 year old for 2 weeks, resort is lovely, good rooms with excellent air con and is very clean. great pool and friendly staff. on the beach but a little stoney and rocky in the sea.animation team work their backsides off and their is plenty to do during the day, kids are not allowed to join in certain things such as archery and i think the activities are not aimed enough towards kids.
food repetitive buy we expected that and ate out a couple of nights. only one bar open at any timewhich led to queues and near the pool served in plastic cups no bigger than egg cups, at night served in glasses but huge queues again.
entertainment at night in ampitheatre but no bar and guests had to walk back to lobby bar and queue before returning.
this was my only annoyance but had a fantastic time and would return. George the assistant manager is a lovely guy and will bend over backwards to cure any problems you may have.

Good clean and tidy apartment complex. The air conditioning works well and is quiet. The pool is of a sufficient size to enjoy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would happily stay back there again.August 2010 - staying at PELA MARIA
Hotel was like faulty towers, showers were just hoses that could not be connected to the wall, no clean sheets or towels if we did get them we did not notice and stair bannisters held together with cellotape. Everywhere felt closter phobic very small spaces felt the need to leave the hotel site most of the time. Food was not bad at all, always something we could eat. location was good for shopping, restaurants and bars.August 2010 - staying at AQUIS SILVA BEACH
The hotel was lovely; the staff were very friendly; the rooms and pool areas were very clean; the food was plentiful and quite good if you stuck to salads and fruit. I would highly recommend the hotel for a relaxed couples holiday.My only negative was the resort of Hersonissos itself which was very tacky and bulit up.
