About the Hotel

Sun-kissed and sun-blessed, Helona Resort is nestled on a gentle hill that softly finds its way to a long sandy beach, at the south-eastern coast of Kos island, in Greece.
Thousands of years ago, Hercules, the famous hero of the Greek mythology, was sailing on his way back from Troy, when a sudden storm, sent by goddess Hera, destroyed his ship and huge waves washed the hero tο the coast of an island.

The island was Kos and the coast was at the south-eastern part, at a cape named Cape Lakitir*.

Today, four luxurious hotels are nestled on the same beautiful coast, only a few meters from the beach, under the brand name Lakitira Hotels: Lakitira Resort Hotel, Lakitira Village, Lakitira Suites and the brand new Helona Resort.
