October 2011 - staying at SIGHIENTU VILLAGE
Beautiful Hotel from the outside; Food is Great; Rooms are cozy but a bit old, would need some refurbishing ; Need a car if you want to visit the area ; Cost 20-25 Euros to use the inside pool as it is a therapeutic pool ; Poor evening entertainment ; 10.00 Euros for deposit for the beach towel
October 2011 - staying at SIGHIENTU
This hotel is set in large grounds with a huge swimming pool and a private beach. It was lovely as were the staff. We stayed on an all inclusive basis and the food provided was amazing, loads of choice and always fresh.
The hotel also boasts a spa where you can get a whole host of treatments. We will definitely re-visit if we go back to Sardinia.
June 2011 - staying at SIGHIENTU VILLAGE
Hotel was very good value. The rooms were a little traditional in style for our taste but they were spacious and squeaky clean. Housekeeping was excellent - fresh linen and sheets every day. The meals were also very good - lots of choice, traditional italian, fresh linen tablecloths - and the house wines were surprisingly drinkable for AI!. The pool was lovely, very clean and attractive. The staff were thoroughly pleasant and the "animateurs" worked really hard to involve guests in their activities - keep fit, dancing etc. The only negative was the sea - Sardinia is famous for its beaches but this was not one of the best as there was alot of seaweed. The hotel does its best to rake this off every night and the beach itself is fine white sand but swimming in the sea was a bit off-putting because of the rocks and seaweed. Nonetheless, it was a great holiday and we would recommend the hotel.
