June 2010 - staying at KURAMATHI

We had an amazing time we have recommended fleetway to friends because of your cost and where you sent us the only thing negative is we was not given the option for a seaplane transfer or was we told it was a monsoon however 7 days out off ten were lovely.

February 2010 - staying at BANDOS ISLAND RESORT

Just wanted to say what a great holiday we had the people are so friendly the resort had every thing we wanted and more thank you Fleetway for a great holioday !

October 2009 - staying at ADAARAN PRESTIGE VADOO

Vadoo pronounced Wadoo is one of those places to really chill out:
Mostly Chinese or Japanese young couples on short stay honeymoon treats, as the cost is not cheap but exclusive and the service beyond reproach (if that is the correct phrase) A most freindly place with your own butler on 24 hr call: We tried the trawl fishing starting at 5.30 am and he was there with our packed snack and tea on board from china cups - before later breakfast back at base:
One or two week stays are not the norm there but to be recommended, even for those who do not snorkle - bet they will during their stay:
We can understand why others on the plane destined for other Island had been to the Maldives 2 or three times, although most heading for the less costly more `crowded`Islands: The Vaddoo having only 50 water bungalows with occupancy varying 40 to 90 %: Since opening only 6 months previous, the expected occupency was circa 40 % but had achieved far in excess of this and no wonder: We normally go for a mix of chill and active destinations but this chill destination was `follow that`Like putting your head in a fish tank - before all day breakfast and evening meals out of this world with service to go with it: We opted for half board but as all meals are 6 courses it was just to much and would recommend B & B with paying for your selection from the evening menu, as your apitite dictated:
Diving centre second to none and members of our party took full advantage, but again not cheap and one can see almost as much snorkling: I lucky enough to see a Manta ray just of the bungalow, although unusual and generally only seen by the divers and think only divers will generally see the Turtles unless lucky:
Manta rays have usually left by October, change of season and the start of the tourist season, we being lucky the rain had just stopped when arrived (previously stopping guest from moving much) and the wind dropped progressively during our stay temperatures reaching circa 30`s
Definately to be recommended but if the budget does not stretch, definately the Maldives somewhere:

October 2009 - staying at 4D/ DDREAMS

If you love diving with 4m Manta Rays, turtles and thousands of fish this is the perfect resort. The dive centre was very relaxed but professional with all 3 instructors very friendly but a little remote. Very orientated towards couples with very few single people here, a good number of people diving each day though so soon got to know people. Highlights include the fish feeding every night where large rays, turtles and an occasional reef shark come in.

Accomodation was excellent with beach views for most of the island except for the SE side where they have had to build a sea wall - not as pretty as the a beach view especially as it's been made from concrete sand bags.

Food was very good although sometimes a bit limited. All inclusive is definitely the only option here as beer is $6 for 1/2 pint.

Overall really enjoyed this very relaxing holiday with good snorkelling and diving more than 2 weeks may have started to get boring though.

October 2009 - staying at ADAARAN SELECT MEEDHUPARU

absolutely perfect - only 1 very minor complaint - not allowing wine outside mealtimes on the inclusive tariff - but honestly anyone that moans about this place needs to get a life - total paradise!
