October 2011 - staying at OCCIDENTAL GRAND XCARET

This is a very nice hotel complex, the food is ok but could be better however there is plenty of choice. There isn't a beach here, only a small man made one but this wasn't an issue for us anyway. Great for visiting Xcaret and Xplor, located next to the complex, good days out but they are additional costs $60 per person each. We had rain for 3 days solid on arrival but as we left the weather was beautiful so take care as to when you go. I would recommend this hotel, if you don't have much in the way of funds don't go on the Vacation Club tour, they're looking for $15k over 5 years to pay for it!

September 2011 - staying at CELUISMA DOS PLAYA

I booked a very late holiday to cancun , and it was fabulous -fleet way travel were excellent especially the chap who sorted it all out -doug moss -he was so helpful and very polite I would definitely use this company again . The hotel Celuisma dos playas was lovely , very small and intimate my friends and I were so pleased with this choice it was very clean and very well kept and the staff were amazing , they couldn't do enough for us all .the location was quite central to the main strip about half an hour walk or 10 mins bus ride

was at this hotel two years ago staying in colonial beach on arrival at the caribe we were given upgrade to the tropical beach that let us use all the facilities in four out of five of the hotels rooms nice and cleaned daily food and drinks were excellent

Had an amazing time, hotel staff were lovely and really helpful, made us feel right at home! Hotel was basic but it's what you pay for! Location was great and had a fantastic time! Would highly recommend this hotel!!

Good morning

WHEN I ARRIVED THEY UPGRADED ME TO THE RIU PAYACAR FOR 4 DAYS WHICH IS A 5 STAR THAT HOTEL WAS GREAT.
WHEN I WENT BACK TO THE OCCIDENTAL FOUND IT LACKING IN SEVERAL WAYS. THE BUFFET RESTAURANT WAS OF A VERY POOR STANDARD THE FOOD WAS NOT VERY GOOD HAD TO EAT OUT SEVERAL TIMES TO GET A DECENT MEAL. THE ROOM WAS ADEQUATE BUT VERY DATED IN NEED OF A COMPLETE REVAMP. THE GROUNDS WERE LOVELY AND SWIMMING AREA WAS OK. SERVICE AT THE BARS VERY SLOW AS THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH STAFF. OVERALL THE UPGRADE MADE THE STAY AS IT SHOW ME WHAT IS AVAILABLE AT THE RESORT. HOWEVER I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR BE GOING BACK TO THE OCCIDENTAL. FOR A FOUR STAR HOTEL THE HOTEL IS OF AN EXTREMELY POOR STANDARD AND SHOULD BE DOWN GRADED TO AT LEAST A THREE IF NOT 2.5 STAR.

March 2011 - staying at PRESIDENT INTERCONTINE

it was a fantastic holiday great destination the hotel was good rooms were good although didnt have a kings size bed and had two small double beds great facilities gym etc with a good large beach and helpful people at the hotel. Only downside was the airline Thomsons they didnt make it clear how much weight we could carry on as hand luggage and charged us £105 for over weight and on the way back the plane had a tecnical promlem and after 2 hrs decided the plane couldnt fly and we had to leave the next day

July 2010 - staying at CELUISMA IMPERIAL LAS PER

The holiday was fantastic and the hotel and staff were really nice. The only problem we had was an issue with the transfers. On our booking confirmation from Fleetway it confirmed free transfers courtesy of the hotel. When phoning Fleetway to obtain further information on this, I was informed that we did not have any transfers included. We therefore arranged our own transfers only to be told by the hotel that they were actually included and Fleetway ahd got it wrong. We therefore spent money we didn't have to because Fleetway did not give us the correct information.
