May 2012 - staying at O5*/SOFITEL ROYAL BAY RST
The hotel rooms we stayed in are not 4-5 star. They are a bit claustrophobic and had no balcony just a window. We asked for a room change which we got after standing our ground. The room we got was a bit fresher, but could have done with a new bathroom floor. We were told that the package we had didn't allow us a room with a balcony and as the hotel only had 20 of these we couldn't even pay extra as there were none available. The food was nice, but stay away from the bread cabinet as its open and the sparrows constantly fly in and help themselves, no I'm not joking.
The hotel grounds are really lovely and you can spend the day just sitting round the pool.
I booked a trip to Imossa which is advertised as having stunning waterfalls,we cancelled this the day before as we found out that due to the drought there hasn't been a waterfall there for 18 months. they need to update their advertising.
The staff were friendly and nice. We did have a good trip but a nicer room would have made it a great trip.
April 2011 - staying at 3*/CARIBBEAN VILLAGE
The representative on the phone who we booked the holiday with was brilliant; very polite and informative. However, the documents emailed to us regarding the trip referred to Egypt and not Morocco. After complaining I was then emailed the amended documents and was told the transfer was booked with Atlas Voyage. On arriving in the airport we then went to seek out our transfer. The company who had our name on the list did not have anything to do with atlas voyage and they had not heard of them. We were lucky that we were asking Rashid if he had any knowledge as to the whereabouts of Atlas Voyage.
After attending the welcome meeting with Rashid-(who was working through hotels for you) we then booked various excersions, two of which we were unable to attend due to the failure of the correct transport bookings by the rep. As you can imagine this had an overall effect of the enjoyment of our holiday.
After receiving such lovely service on booking the holiday, we were very disappointed with the service we received afterwards and will think twice in the future. The service was not as expected and are highly angry as to the follow on impact caused during our holiday.
March 2012 - staying at SUD BAHIA
Hotel very outdated and very dirty. Some staff very unhelpful and abrupt. Food inadequate and horrible and dining tables with cats asleep on them. Definately not a 3 star and definately not a family hotel. No problems with any other part of the holiday.December 2011 - staying at RESIDENCE IGOUDAR
No heated pool and meals were served at another hotel further up the road. Otherwise convenient location in town.January 2012 - staying at IBEROSTAR FOUNTY BEACH
Great booking experience - would definitely use Fleetway again. Hotel was just ok though. Most frustrating part was the key card for the room stopped working and we needed to get it reset between 4-6 times most days. Hotel not great at customer service and did not seem to understand how frustrating that was. They also charged us a local tax which I have sent you a separate email about. Generally though, the hotel was really good. Very clean, well maintained and comfortable.November 2011 - staying at KENZI EUROPA HOTEL
We had as nice a time as we possibly could during our holiday in Agadir, Morocco and found some of the staff very friendly and helpful. We found it difficult at times though with some staff not being able to speak English. All the evening entertainment was in French which we found odd as there was other tourists from the UK and Germany who also couldn't understand also but we are not really 'evening entertainment' type of people anyway so it was no major loss for us. We were probably 40 years younger than the average guest also being in our 20s, but we did find some other nice guests there. Well, 2 but hey, who's counting!? The food at the hotel was faultless, good selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner including lovely fresh salads and we nor anyone we spoke to complained at being sick which is often a complaint of an all inclusive resort. With regards to going all inclusive we are very glad we did. We dined out 4 times during our 10 night stay in the end opting for a restaurant that arrange a shuttle collection and drop off for customers, the local people were very pushy and we ran in to a couple of trouble makers the first time we went out which made us feel edgy when we went out again and I personally haven't felt like that in a long time having travelled virtually problem free solo for 2 years around South East Asia.A vodka and coke cost 50 dirham (Almost £4) so if you do want to drink I would definitely recommend it. As we didn't eat out much we tried to make sure that the meals we had were at the at the nicest restaurants which were pricey but well worth the money. We won't be returning to Agadir but that's because it reminds me of a shabby Sharm El Sheikh with less to do and little culture to absorb. I only went to Sharm to go Scuba diving and wouldn't return there despite the diving. We met people that went there every year but that's not really us anyway. Free wifi at the hotel was a bonus but we didn't get it in our room on the 4th floor. That's all I can think of, hope it was useful....
October 2011 - staying at CARIBBEAN VILLAGE AGADOR
The holiday we booked was for myself and my friend as a respite break. This is the first time we have been to Morocco and were a bit apprehensive but this was unfounded as we had a brilliant time at the hotel which was excellent with friendly staff which were only to pleased to help us when required, the food was varied and good ,suitable for all tastes.
The animation team worked hard day and at night entertaining everyone forming a great happy atmosphere amongst every body.
Pools clean and well maintained.
Good flights both ways all in all another great Fleet way Holiday.
November 2011 - staying at SOFITEL AGADIR ROYAL BAY
The holiday was amazing. The hotel and staff were very helpful and caring for your every wish. Rooms were lovely and the chamber maids put roses in the bathroom and over your bed. Restaurant and staff again were amazing although its a buffet it again was amazing the choice you have is great for example you have barbeque every night at least ten main additional main dishes without the other side dishes. The pool area lovely and clean, clean towels evey day. Would recommend this hotel to anyone 11 out of 10November 2011 - staying at BEACH ALBATROS
