Holidays to Krakow

Krakow is undoubtedly one of the most interesting cities in Poland and Europe, and one of main tourist destinations. His uniqueness owes magnificent architecture, yet originating from the time when Krakow was the capital of the country, and Wawel Royal Castle - the seat of the kings. Visitors are attracted by the unique atmosphere of Kazimierz, the former Jewish and Polish masterpieces of Art Nouveau. But Krakow - is not only the monuments and museums, but above all, a city pulsating with life, with many pubs, clubs and restaurants in which everyone will find something for themselves.

Krakow, with the number of residents equal to 750 000 people, is the third-largest city in Poland. Although in the sixteenth century, the capital moved to Warsaw, Krakow continuously plays the role of the main cultural centre of the country. City has survived all of World War II.

Krakow is also an important academic city. This here was the first polish university, to this day well as an appreciation, both at home and abroad. It is also the most frequently visited by tourists city in Poland. Its biggest attractions are of course Wawel historic Old Town and surrounded Plantami - park in the shape of the ring. In the heart of the Old Town is a huge market (a symbol of Krakow - the largest in Europe) from the fourteenth-century “Sukiennice”.
