Cheap City breaks to Warsaw

Poland’s capital Warsaw, recently glammed up and now bursting with hip hotels, bars, restaurants and night clubs. The cities vibrant youthfulness welcomes you.
With the old town now restored to its 17th and 18th century beauty there is absolutely so excuse to take a cheap holiday with Fleetway Travel to this vibrant city with loads to do and discover!

The charming market square and Old Square located in the Old town, now a world heritage site was once the place of shabby state shops and now is a thriving array of boutiques, restaurants and bars. Whilst in the Old town a climb to the top of St Annes Church allows you to see sweeping views of this spectacular city (only open in summer months). Here the real Poland can be discovered with tucked away castles, palaces and churches. Most of the rest of the city would seem new, after the cities destruction in the Second World War and the communist regime arriving - The Palace of Science and Culture dominates the cities skyline, some see it as an eyesore, others as a part of the cities history. Then there’s the newer building – those of the future investors who have built impressive sky scrapers.

Amongst the scores of theatres, cinemas and galleries are historical monuments, not to be forgotten by this modern metropolis. These can be visited best whilst on board either the fabulous Historic Tram way or on one of the tourist bus lines, which really do take you to see the best parts of Warsaw. A boat trip along the Vistula River is not to be missed whilst on holiday in Warsaw – its sight seeing with a difference!

The Food of Poland is definitely to be tried, the countries delicacies have influences from all over the world so everyone’s happy, even vegetarians wont have a problem on holiday in Warsaw! A visit to a Milk Bar is a definite must!
