Book a cheap all-inclusive holiday in glamorous Costa Blanca
The Costa Blanca is one of the most popular destinations for Spanish holidays. A beautiful region of the Iberian Peninsula, Costa Blanca translates to mean "white coast" - a fitting name, for its endless sandy beaches stretch from Denia in the north, renown for lush mountainous terrain, to Torrevieja in the south, where the landscape becomes much flatter. One of the healthiest climates in the world, the Costa Blanca has become a magnet for both tourists and foreign expatriate communities. Charming routes through Spanish towns and villages contrast with bustling local commercial centres invigorated by a thriving tourist industry. This is a great destination for cheap all-inclusive holidays.
Tourist Attractions in Costa Blanca
July is one of the most exciting times of the year to be in Denia, but also one of the most dangerous! 'Encierro', otherwise known as the 'running of the bulls' is broadcast worldwide, commencing at eight o'clock each morning. Burly young men, and the odd crazy tourist, charge through the streets in front of the bulls to lead them from their pens to the bullring. Take part at your own risk! Alternatively, you may want to head to Calpe to experience the beauty of nature at the salt flats, and view the magnificent flocks of flamingo. Murcia is great for family holidays too, and relatively devoid of tourists. This amazing city is graced with the beautiful Cathedral of Santa Maria. Its stunning structure and immaculate interior is a major attraction, while a lavish palace and bullfighting museum in the area also make the journey worthwhile.
Costa Blanca Accommodation: villas, apartments, hotels
From elaborately furnished apartments in Costa Blanca, to luxury villas with swimming pools as standard - there is a broad range of accommodation on offer in this sunny south-eastern region of Spain. Location is important, with many Costa Blanca villas and apartments offering access to beaches, bars, restaurants, and shopping centres, while resort-facilitated accommodation will allow you to indulge in spas and sports facilities. Depending on its characteristics each region will differ. So for peace of mind, when booking your cheap family package holiday or cheap holiday abroad, it's advisable to specify preference for either a quiet zone with convenient access to amenities, or a livelier area full of the bustling nightlife of clubs and bars on Costa Blanca.
