November 2011 - staying at SANDOS MONACO HOTEL

Fleetway arrangements good. Hotel generally good with some annoyances. Pool was closed. Shower goes cold then very hot without warning.Med Hotels rep sent us info which caused a some upset - we arrived Wed 9th she sent us her timetable including an offer for a free outing on the Friday but only after 10am on the Friday ie the outing had gone before we got the invite! (we went out 10.30am and the letter was in our room when we returned at 6pm) so we missed this outing which we would have liked to do. We missed speaking to her on Thursday/Friday because we did not have her letter, she was not working Sat and just did not say if she was coming to the hotel on Sunday - we gave up, never saw her. We checked with Hotel on 12th Sept that we could have packed lunches and they sent an e-mail saying yes so we booked through you. When we asked for our packed lunches at the hotel reception they said they had stopped doing them as from 1/11/2011. I pushed and they confirmed I could have the lunch and had only to ask the man at the restaurant door and we would be given them immediately- tried this was told not on by the man concerned but I produced my e-mail and then had a packed lunch made up on an emergency basis - too much upset so we did not ask again and paid for out lunches outside. Marred what was a good holiday

September 2011 - staying at MAGIC ROCK GARDENS

After a few scary moments with Fleetway amending our board basis we got all the documents in time and the travel aspect was flawless. The hotel is at the top of a steepish hill which might cause problems for some, but you get used to it. The main entrance and reception are coated in some rock effect fibreglass to give it a cave like theme, which in my opinion makes it look very tacky, the rest of the decor in the public areas is actually quite nice. The rooms are very good and seem to have been updated quite recently. There is air con, a fridge and flat screen tv in the rooms. The cleaners came every day and did a good job.

The bars and restaurants are excellently staffed. The service is fantastic and you certainly can't fault the guys serving drinks and food. The drinks themselves are a bit of a let down. Unless you upgrade to the Gold card you only get 'local' drinks as part of the all inclusive package. The spirits are weak and the beer gets warm very quickly. The food was good with plenty of choice.

The pool area was the biggest disappointment for me. It is in the shade for most of the day because of neighbouring hotels, and the pool itself is rather small.

It is located about two minutes from the beach and close to the shops and bars.

Overall it was a good holiday for a good price.

September 2011 - staying at DELOIX AQUA CENTER HOTEL

last minute booking...best hotel and relaxing break. The hotel was fabulous.cleaned everyday.staff friendly/proffesional and go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay (for eg; on departure day, made breakfast available 7am,even though it didnt open til 8 am-little things that make a difference.:) everything you could want at hotel.brilliant pool(s) even an adult only one on the roof.near enough to walk to beach..far enough to relax away from the busy centre of binidorm.would love to go to this hotel again.overall very posotive experience.

September 2011 - staying at BE LIVE PLANTIO GOLF

This is one of the best holidays we have ever had. The apartment was immaculate and generously proportioned and the staff were first class. There are two huge pools which were very quiet the whole time we were there and so it was lovely to spend time just hanging out swimming and sunbathing. The only negative thing was the breakfast which was pretty impossible for vegetarians, but after the first day we self catered so it wasn't a problem. You definitely need a car to get to the shops and to visit the city and it's a good idea to bring a few kitchen basics. The golf was out of this world - the most beautiful golf course you can imagine and it only cost 30 euros for 18 holes including the use of a golf buggy which was the best fun. Club hire was bit much at 20 euros for half a set but overall, it was really excellent value. If you are looking for a really comfortable place to rest and relax this is it. We will definitely visit again.
