August 2010 - staying at SANTA SUSANNA RESORT

its the second time we have been to this resort there is no air conditioning which made it a bit hard but we still had a amazing time def recommend great value for money.

hotel was ok nothing flash ,but did not pay flash price. staff very friendly maids came in room every day .food was nt to bad ,only fault really was entertainment , they did nt have a glue half time and when they did it was rubbish but overall had a very nice time.

The hotel was reasonably clean and tidy. The staff were helpful. The food was OK not brilliant but not by any means inedible. The rooms are very small with no kettle so bring your own! We had a really excellent holiday and would visit back again.

August 2010 - staying at AQUARIUM

We visited Lloret de Mar and stayed at the Aquarium with our 3 teenage (and older daughters). Weather was wonderful.
Overall it was a good experience. Clean, family hotel. Felt safe. Quiet at night. Pleasant staff. Average food (we had half board - had to pay for any drinks at dinner time). Busy pool.
Fenals Beach is wonderful, Sa Boadella is better if you don't mind the 15 minute walk and the nudity. We thought that Lloret de Mar beach itself was too crowded.
Tossa de Mar is worth a half day visit by boat from Fenals.
Scuba diving (one day) was good but not the Red Sea.
Regretted not exploring more cafes in the surrounding town for lunch. The Tandoori behind the hotel was better than we expected. The patisserie on the high street made a wonderful Catalonian cream cake for us one day.
Glad we visited.

July 2010 - staying at RIVIERA HOTEL

RIVIERA HOTEL, SANTA SUSANA COSTA BRAVA
Room pleasant but could have done with a lick of paint. We went half board - good choice of food , buffet style. Most staff spoke good english and were friendly. The down side was the hotel next door which had a disco/live band every night till the early hours - if you like an early night or have young children , ask for a room on the right hand side of the hotel (as viewed from the road)

we had a lovely holiday, the food was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and towels changed daily. The free train down to the front was great.The only faults were the entertainment was poor in the evenings and the cleaning was excessive! especially in the evening on the front porch mopping the same area about six times and going under your feet definately a saftey hazzard! they even bleached my husbands shoes!! also the pool is VERY busy you cant take your eyes off the children for a second as you have youngsters playing water polo with no reguard for the little ones. Also if you are not by the pool to reserve your sun bed by 8am you wont get a bed. But all in all we had a great holiday.

Hotel Rooms very basic and very small however the rest of the facilities make up for a room you only sleep in. Very good pool and snake bar with friendly staff. Plenty of sun beds however you do have to be up early to beat the towel bandits for the best spots. Really enjoyable weekend break.

June 2010 - staying at AQUA HOTEL ONABRAVA

Not really a 4* hotel, but more a good 3 *. Facilities ok and gym staff really nice. Had to pay for lots of extras, such as sun loungers by the pool each day, safety deposit box, gym and indoor pool - all things you would expect to be included in a 4* hotel.

June 2010 - staying at ANCLA HOTEL

I wouldn't recommend the Ancla to be honest. The hotel areas and the rooms were ok but as we walked to our rooms on the first day we were told that three rooms had just been robbed. Reception said they thought that keys were being copied but didn't seem too concerned other than to offer you a safe deposit. The food in the restaurant was ok ( only 1.5 hrs at lunch & 2 at night ) but snacks at other times were very poor. The service generally was average at best. Won't be going back !. Just another point for Fleetway to note : Barcelona airport now has two terminals and the terminal was not specified on the documentation that was sent out. We got a taxi to the wrong terminal and then had to pay extra to get to the correct one. Otherwise , happy with the service from Fleetway as always.
