Hotel Puente Romano's privileged location in southern Spain, in the heart of Marbella's Golden Mile, and between downtown and bustling Puerto Banus, makes it the perfect choice for your leisure or business travel. The heart of the Hotel and its social focus is the Roman Bridge (Puente Romano) from which the property took its name. Hotel History :
27 separate three story buildings comprise Hotel Puente Romano, originally conceived to be a private condominium community and becoming hotel in 1979. Thanks to this, it offers it's guests very large guestrooms and suites, all with private terrace overlooking the lush and subtropical gardens, sitting area and large bathrooms - many with separate hydromassage tub and shower. Part of the Via Augusta that joined Cadiz with Rome is the roman bridge that gives it's name to the hotel. It is the social center and focal point for the cultural crossroads meeting here. Some of the brightest names in tourism, entertainment, music, politics and Royal Houses have been guest at Hotel Puente Romano: Gina Lollobrigida, Sean Connery, Alain Delon, Barbara Streisand, Elizabeth Taylor, Montserrat Caballé, José Carreras, Tom Jones, Ray Charles, the Empress Farra Diba, Count Jaime de Mora and Aragon, Simoneta Gomez-Acebo, Isabel Preysler, Julio Iglesias, Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas are just a sampling of these.

Our 293 deluxe rooms and suites, completely refurbished, are distributed along our luxuriant sub-tropical gardens in 27 small three storied Andalusia style buildings, all with private balcony and sitting area. Designed to offer the utmost privacy and total rest, each building is named after an Andalusian town and is clearly identified with a beautiful ceramic tile.
