Customer reviews of Costa del Sol

April 2012 - staying at LAS CHAPAS PALACIO DEL SO

THE GOOD: The area is lovely - there are lovely beaches and it's only a 1.40 euro ride on the bus into the lovely Marbella. There are also some nice local shops and restaurants just a 2 minute walk away from the hotel.
THE BAD: The hotel food is disgusting. Please don't go half board - you'll regret it. THe hotel was a mix of Spansih pensioners and drunken hen do's. To be fair the hen do folk were really quite well behaved but the hotel has the sound proffing of an oil drum - plenty of disturbed sleep on this one.

March 2012 - staying at ROC EL PINAR APARTHOTEL

the hotel was really clean but the food wasn't that good also the bar staff were really picky about 1 person one drink and take your glass back to get refill so the four of us had to go to the bar seperate to get a round of drinks. had a great holiday but won't go back to this hotel.

November 2011 - staying at GRAN HOTEL CERVANTES 4*

fantastic hotel clean, tidy, good food, good drink, friendly staff, ideal location in the centre of town only five minutes walk from sea front. Will return again for sure.

November 2011 - staying at HOLIDAY POLYNESIA

Excellent Hotel would recommend to anyone very friendly, great location could not fault it excellent food.

October 2011 - staying at ROC FLAMINGO HOTEL

This was my 3rd time staying at the Flamingo Hotel. Always clean (rooms cleaned everyday), very friendly staff who havnt changed in the 2years ive been going. Close to all the local amenities, 2minute walk from the train station. The all inclusive was a bit “samey” by the end of the week, but always something to eat.

October 2011 - staying at ROYAL COSTA HOTEL

What a lovely small hotel staff could,nt do enough for you. spotlessly clean. food was good, drink the usuall AL just a pity it rained for three days out of our four days holiday. a little out of the way but a two minute stroll takes you to the train station Torremolinos two stops away 2.20 euros return. would def go back

October 2011 - staying at BENALMADENA PALACE HOTEL

We found it to be a beautiful hotel, very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The buffet style meals were very varied but we would have preferred more Spanish types of food to be on the menu. The food on offer was probably in consideration of the many British families with their children in the hotel at this school holiday period. Plenty of things to do for the children.....clean pools and sufficient sun loungers available. Excellent for football lovers as all drinking & snack bars have an abundance of large screen TVs. I would have preferred Spanish music videos to football, but apparantly even the Spanish are football mad.
My one adverse comment is that passengers should be made aware (at the time of booking) of the steep hill access to the hotel as any difficulty walking means taking a taxi 500 metres to and from the beach.

October 2011 - staying at ROYAL COSTA HOTEL

Was slightly nervous about this trip as we had never booked a holiday through an agent before and i had never heard of Fleetway, however there was no need to worry, first class service from start to finish, everything went to plan.Transfers were ready and waiting for us, polite drivers, Flights fine, we sat together, hotel was good with our rooms been booked next to each other and low down like i had requested. Will use Fleetway again and highly recommend to others.

October 2011 - staying at HOTEL CORTIJO BLANCO

Hotel was really good - immaculately clean, good facilities, well tended gardens and pool. Resort and area very nice with good public transport. Entertainment suited the majority and drinks were generously dispensed.
Even better if - food quality needs to improve - there was lots of choice and fruit, salads and desserts good, but hot courses were made using the cheapest cuts of meat possible, and fish overcooked. Also reception staff were courteous but curt - could have been more welcoming and friendly. Overall I would go there again for the hotel but would not look forward to the food.

October 2011 - staying at VERAMAR APARTMENTS

Rooms a little bit worn, but well-equipped, clean, and decent value for money.
Only negative was that we had to leave the room keys at the reception, but nobody would ever check for any ID when we reclaimed our keys, so anybody could ask for any room key and get access to the room.
