La Manga is located within the Rolling hills of the province of Murcia, in the south of the Costa Blanca. La Manga is sometimes known as Costa Calida or the warm coast. The resort enjoys year-round warm temperatures. La Manga is a narrow strip of land which separates Europe’s largest salt lagoon – Mar Menor from the Mediterranean sea. Over 22km long, the stunning beaches on both sides are ideal for all types of water sports. The warm shallow waters of The Mar Menor are ideal for children or those learning the sports. Dotted along the coast of The Costa Calida are a number of water sports schools, renting equipment and giving tuition! Boats trips are also available along the coast of La Manga Del Mar Menor.

The Provinces capital Murcia is about 45 minutes drive away from the coastal resort, ideal for a city break whilst on your cheap holiday to the region. For day trips from La Manga, Cartagena is only 20km away, this ancient port complete with Roman ruins and museums is a lovely day out. Venturing inland to the sleepy villages of the Province are also fun, with the opportunities to try traditional past times and walk, hike, cycle or even horse round around the hills.

La Manga Del Mar Menor is home to the famous La Manga Club offering loads of accommodation from bungalows to hotel rooms, also world class sports facilities in football, tennis, golf and on the water. With its own restaurants and bars also within the Club.
