October 2011 - staying at CALA GALDANA HOTEL
everything was excellent---the hotel the room the service the amenities and the food. The only thing missing and not actually missed was the presence of a rep.Thank you for providing us with a wonderful holiday.Yours Roger Titley

Stayed in the above during H Term, we booked the A Inc package.... A REAL WISE MOVE.There was only 1 bar open outside of the hotel for the first few days of our stay, and the hotel i think was about a 1/4 full.
But we had come across the following before... all Old Age Pensioners in Spain get a free A Inc every year.
They started arriving around the Wednesday, and when we left on the Friday the hotel was more or less full of Old Age Freebies!!!!!
That made no difference to our holiday, weather was sunny, hot and it was dry. We usually go to Magaluf or Benidorm at this time of year, Oh it was quite, but again that was no probs.
Food at the hotel was good, a wide variety. When your on AI you can eat from 10.00 - 24.00......not that we did, but the opportunity was there.
Small Q a bit at the bar, but you could have as many dirinks as you asked for!!!!!!!!
We had a great bargain, and will most certainly look at the A Inc packages again, certainly value for money, and you can take it or leave what is on offer

In comparing prices with other people I found that I paid a lot more for the whole package, which is disappointing.On arrival at the hotel I was offered a sea view room but at extra cost, again disappointing as I already knew I had paid more than other people
The hotel staff were efficient but not at all friendly
The umbrellas round the pool were cemented into the ground which didnt work well and there were too few of them. The hotel needs more freestanding umbrellas around the pool area.
The hotel food was sooo repetitive and boring, very budget cuisine, I got to the point where I really didn't look forward to going to meals, which usually is a part of a holiday I really enjoy. I would not do anything more than B&B another time and as there are plenty of places to eat room only would be an option for me.
Lovely location and would be happy to return from that perspective.
This is really only a 3* hotel, it is over rated at 4*

The flight was with Thompson Airways and we are not really happy with them. Staff not really helpful and even rude (2/5)The hotel was perfect: cleanliness, friendly staff, good food (taste, quality and variety). I would recommended it! (5/5)
